Engineering Scholarships
Engineering Scholarship information is available through The Office of Academic and Student Affairs
(OASA), which is located in 6426, Boelter Hall.
A list of currently available scholarships is available
for viewing
here and is maintained by the Office of External Affairs. The majority of these scholarships
will be listed on the
HSSEAS Scholarship Program application (available
Fall quarter only). Please note that scholarship availability,
amount and criteria are subject to change without notice and are subject
to fund verification.
The Scholarships listed below are open to currently
enrolled undergraduate
students in the UCLA, Henry Samueli School of Engineering and
Applied Science:
1) Please carefully read the criteria
for EACH scholarship listed and verify you meet each requirement.
2) Students are encouraged to visit
the
Scholarship
Resource Center (SRC). SRC holds
workshops every
quarter to help students with the application process for all types
of scholarships. SRC also assists students with
their personal statements/essays.
3) Class standing is determined by unit
level:
0 - 44.9 (Freshman)
45 - 89.9 (Sophomore)
90 - 134.9 (Junior)
135 + (Senior)

HSSEAS 2009-2010 Scholarship Program

The 2009-2010 Scholarship Program deadline was Monday, November
2nd, 2009. Applications are currently being reviewed. We expect
the process to take several weeks and hope to notify final
recipients sometime in December.

Shivakumar Scholarship for 2009-2010

This scholarship is for CS/CSE majors with
research experience. Please submit your on-line application to 6426 Boelter Hall.

Looking for scholarship information can be a tedious endeavor, but the rewards
can be great. Your local library, high school or community college career
center have information about Scholarships, Grants, and Loans. Ask the
UCLA Reference Librarian for assistance in locating appropriate material.
